Faster innovation for Liferay DXP
Gartner recently named Liferay a leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms. Liferay is rewarded with this nomination due to their completeness of vision and ability to execute their view on Digital Experience Platforms with Liferay DXP. The platform is developed for enterprises that want to move from web-centric to more pervasive, multichannel digital experiences.
Firelay’s integration of Liferay with Docker and Kubernetes makes a multichannel experience possible. Docker and Kubernetes have won the container war and are rapidly conquering the developer world. However, being open source projects, installation may be cumbersome and support could be non-existent. Red Hat has jumped in to fill the void with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
“The cooperation between Firelay and Red Hat is great news for our DXP customers”, says Ruud Kluivers, general manager of Liferay Benelux. “By combining their knowledge the ‘Time to Value’ for Liferay DXP projects will be unbeatable. Customers can focus on innovation will have full confidence that infrastructure and deployment are taken care of”.
